Production Workers
At Murata, we contribute to a safer driving through our high-quality sensor products. We work on projects that impact people’s daily lives: our products ensure cars stay on the road, bridges don’t collapse, and individuals with pacemakers can rely on their hearts continuing to beat. As a Production Worker, you will be able to contribute to this meaningful purpose.
As a stable employer with growing long-term market opportunities, we can offer permanent employment with various opportunities to grow and learn. As a Production Worker, you will work in a cleanroom environment with regular working hours and a shift model that fits your life circumstances. We encourage all our employees to develop themselves and offer various study and development paths, as well as new job opportunities inside of the company. For Production Workers, no specific study background is required – we offer you an extensive training period from 1 to 2 months.
To be noted in 2024: We are not recruiting production workers for now.

Versatile tasks
Your job tasks will vary depending on the production area, but they can include operating production equipment, data processing in the production system, and quality inspection of products with a microscope, for example.
You are an important part of the team responsible for ensuring smooth production. The team includes several operators who work in the same shift, an area supervisor, and a shift supervisor.
Clean indoor work
Because our products are utilized in safety-critical applications, the quality requirements set for the production are also high. And the high-quality functioning of the production requires special manufacturing conditions. A clean room ensures that our sensors have the best possible protection against, for example, dirt and dust that would damage the products if they came into contact with them. This is why manufacturing and assembly work is done in laboratory-like cleanrooms, where workers wear comprehensive protective equipment. In the testing area, the protective equipment may be lighter, but precautions such as wearing static-discharge shoes are still necessary.
You can learn more about working in a cleanroom environment by reading our blog post Cleanroom Work at Murata – why, how and against what do clean rooms protect.
Learning opportunities & Career paths
We also support personal development by offering our people trainings, study and development paths, as well as new job opportunities.
You may start working at Murata as a Production Worker, but your journey at Murata does not end there. If you are interested in learning more and building your own career towards new job roles, there are plenty of opportunities to choose from.
