\u201dAloitin t\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 Vantaan MEMS-liikeanturien tuotantolaitoksella tuotannon ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4n\u00e4 juhannusviikolla 1999. Ty\u00f6paikkahaastattelu oli j\u00e4nn\u00e4 paikka, kun kuulin tarkemmin, millaista ainutlaatuista huipputeknologiaa t\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 suunnitellaan ja valmistetaan\u201d, Teija muistelee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teija worked at Murata Finland for 26 years, and now it\u2019s time to spread her wings on the other side of the world. What has her journey at Murata been like?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI started here at the inertial MEMS sensor production facility as a production worker during Midsummer week in 1999. The job interview was exciting when I learned more about the unique high-tech products designed and manufactured here,\u201d Teija recalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She began with visual inspection of electronic components and later became a robot machine operator. \u201cAt some point, I wanted to leave shift work, so I applied for a day job as a material coordinator. It was a great time \u2013 the work was versatile and physical. Due to organizational changes, I eventually moved to the purchasing department as a buyer, and I\u2019ve really enjoyed this role,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Teija\u2019s production experience has been a huge advantage in purchasing. \u201cAs a buyer, I took responsibility for the materials I had handled as a material coordinator in production \u2013 and over the years, my responsibilities have expanded. The work has been very interesting and varied, with plenty of challenges. Purchasing is responsible for keeping the production wheels turning by ensuring there\u2019s enough material, on time, to meet production needs,\u201d Teija explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s been wonderful to be part of this company\u2019s growth story. And the best part has been my own team: we\u2019ve bonded well and support each other when needed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
