Every year, we offer summer jobs. Most of the summer jobs are aimed at students in the field of technology. Murata’s summer job application period opens in January. We require our summer employees to be at least 18 years old. You can apply in the Open Positions section during the application period.

When possible, we offer on-the-job learning positions for vocational school students in the field of technology. On-the-job learning takes place as a Production Worker. You can apply in the Open Positions section during the application period.

Primarily, Murata welcomes internships in the form of summer jobs. Application period for summer jobs starts in January. will be posted from January to February. You can apply in the Open Positions section during the application period.

From time to time we offer thesis positions, especially to higher education students in the field of technology whose study background and interests fit Murata’s business and core competencies. These educational backgrounds may consist of studies in physics, electronics, semiconductors, material technology or machinery and automation, for example.

We strive to support the career development of our employees and primarily offer thesis opportunities to current Murata employees or those who have previously worked at Murata. Thus, the most typical way to get a thesis position at Murata is to first have a summer job to learn the ropes, during which time the person looking for a thesis subject can identify thesis opportunities where they can utilize their skills and deepen their knowledge. We may also occasionally search for skilled people directly to a specific team with an open search and will always announce these positions in the Open Positions section.

The job advertisement and application form provide more detailed descriptions of the information we require from applicants for that specific recruitment process. Please fill out at least your contact details and a description of your skills profile on the application form. To highlight your skills and educational background best, it is recommended to attach a CV. You may also attach additional documents of your choice, such as a separate cover letter, academic transcript, or degree or employment certificate.

Unfortunately, you are not able to edit your application after submission, because no individual user IDs are created for applicants by the system. This ensures that the application process is as effortless as possible. If you wish, you can send a new application that will replace your previous one.
