For the third year running, Murata proudly sponsored Semi-Summer — a unique summer job campaign organized by Aalto University together with leading semiconductor companies: Applied Materials – Picosun, Bosch, KYOCERA Technologies, Murata, Okmetic, and Canatu.

This year, 9 students gained hands-on experience in cutting-edge research across Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Science faculties. Beyond the jobs, students connected with industry pros through events and company visits — including an inspiring tour at Murata.

Semi-Summer is boosting interest in semiconductors — Aalto’s course enrollments have doubled since the campaign started! This means more skilled talent for the future of the semiconductor industry.
