At Murata, we strongly believe in the power of cross-functional teamwork.
When experts from different departments and functions work together, they approach things from various perspectives. This helps solve problems more comprehensively and find more innovative solutions. Silos decrease, information flows better, and operations become more efficient. The needs of customers—both internal and external—are addressed more holistically. 🤝
Niklas Hantila works as a Production Systems Development Engineer at Murata Finland’s MEMS inertial sensor factory. He recently participated in the CFT (Cross Functional Team) Leader training with the goal of applying this approach in production development projects.
“As a relatively new Murata employee, I’ve noticed that our company’s CFT projects are very effective. They have a strong spirit of collaboration and a sense of belonging. I want to leverage this strength in various development projects, which is why I took part in Murata’s CFT Leader training,” Niklas says. “The training covered icebreaker and brainstorming techniques, the importance of a shared vision and motivation, conflict management, and other essential leadership skills and practical project management tools. It was a valuable experience, and I feel more prepared to grow both personally and professionally. It’s great to be able to apply new learnings in practical projects!”
Sounds like a comprehensive training!
Congratulations and best wishes to our new CFT Leader! 👏
